About Bethanyaroma

Bethany was a dull place, the village of Simon the leper, dead Lazarus and many sinners. But when Lord Jesus visited that village, it became a place of fragrance. (John 12:1-3; Mark 14:3) God has quickened us who were dead in trespasses & sins (Eph. 2:1), now made a sweet savor (aroma) of Christ.

“Now wherever we go, He uses us to tell others about the Lord and spread the Good News like a sweet perfume. Our lives are a fragrance presented by Christ to God. But this fragrance is perceived differently by those being saved and by those perishing. To those who are perishing we are a fearful smell of death and doom. But to those who are being saved we are a life giving perfume.” 2 Corinthians 2:14-16 (NLT)

Are you among the saved ones? We thank God, because for you this is a life giving aroma. For un-believers this is a smell of eternal death and doom.

Bethany Aroma is a Christian online library. We do not sell books; all material on this site is for free online reading only.

Our Statement of Faith

We believe that the Bible is the inspired, the only faultless, authoritative Word of God in the original writings, comprising of sixty-six books, and recognize it to be the sole authority in all matters of faith, doctrine, and practice.

We believe that there is only one God (the Godhead), infinite and eternally self-existent, in three persons- the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (the Trinity), each of whom is sovereign, co-equal and co-eternal.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ (truly God and truly man), in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death on the cross, through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe that all men are sinners and therefore justly deserve God’s condemnation and that man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

We believe Salvation is by the grace of God and not by any human effort, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and  that it is secure and cannot be lost.

We believe in the regenerating, sanctifying, indwelling work of the Holy Spirit, who baptizes each believer into the body of Christ upon their acceptance of the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

We believe in and practice the holy ordinance of water baptism by total immersion in water, in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, which signifies death, burial and resurrection into new life with Christ Jesus and declare their belief to the public.

We believe in and practice the regular observance of The Lord’s supper (Holy Communion) as commanded by our Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe in the priesthood of all believers, the Lord Jesus Christ being our High Priest and the only mediator between God and Man.

We believe in the present ministry and baptism of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the believer is enabled to live a godly life, equips them with spiritual gifts and empowers them to enjoy fellowship with God in this present world.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the unsaved; those that are saved into the everlasting life with the Lord, and those that are unsaved into the everlasting separation from Him.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe that the Universal Church is the body of Christ consisting of all born-again believers in Lord Jesus Christ and acknowledges His Lordship in all areas of their life.

We believe that the local church (assembly) is an independent autonomous body, whose Head is the Lord Jesus Christ, governed by elders appointed by the Holy spirit.
