           Reethi ‘En praana naadan en’

  1.  Loka sukhamo velliyo ponno sashwathamallonnum
    Aakaasham, bhoomi maarippoyaalum
    Vachanamo susthiramaam
               Vachanamente kaalinu deepam
               Veedikkathe prakaashavum
     
  2. Nadappukale nirmmalamaakkaan
    Balakarkke saadyamaamo
    Vachanam konde sookshikkukil
    Saadichidurm nischayamaay-
     
  3. Paapamenye jeevikkuvaan
    Vachanam hruthil samgrahikka
    Vachanamullil vaasam cheythaal
    Yaachanakal saadichidum-
     
  4. Rogaathuramaam naalukalil
    Bhaarappedaan kaaryamilla
    Vachanamayache saukhyam nalki
    Maanuvelan viduvichidum-
     
  5. Irupuravum moorchayulla
    Vaalaanallo thiruvachanam
    Asthi, sandhi majjakale
    Thulachiduvaan shakthamathre –
     
  6. Thiruvezhuthu samasthavum
    Daiva shwaaseeyamaanallo
    Updeshavum shaasanayum
    Vachanamennum nalkidunnu- 

Meaning:

  1. Worldly pleasures, silver, and gold are not eternal; nothing lasts forever.
    Even if heaven and earth pass away, God’s Word remains forever.

    Your Word is a lamp to my feet
    And a light upon my path.

  2. Can children keep their ways pure?
    Yes, surely they can,
    If they guard their lives according to God’s Word.

  3. Store God’s Word in your heart so that you may live free from sin.
    When His Word dwells within you,
    Your prayers will be answered according to His will.

  4. There is no need to be overwhelmed in times of sickness.
    Emmanuel sends His Word, brings healing,
    And delivers His people.

  5. The Holy Word is like a sharp, double-edged sword;
    It is powerful enough to pierce
    Even to the deepest parts of our being—bone, joints, and marrow.

  6. All Scripture is inspired by God.
    It provides teaching and correction,
    And continually gives us God’s instruction through His Word.
