• Tsunami, which swallowed lives of almost 300,000 people in Malaysia, Sri Lanka, India and other countries.
• The earthquakes that occurred in India, Pakistan, Iran, China, Japan and other countries during the year 2005 which claimed almost 100,000 lives.
• Katrina, Rita, etc which struck America loosing lives of thousands and destroying cities & homes.
• The deadly bird flue virus which is spreading all over the world.
• AIDS and cancer, which became a common decease in every part of the world.
• Global Warming, a threat to the scientists and the world leaders.
• Terror attacks, a daily event all over the world killing thousands of innocent people.
• Accumulation of nuclear weapons by nations and even militants.
• Hunger and famine which causes the death of thousands every year around the world.
• Mounting suicide rates among people who have lost their hope, peace and meaning for life.

History says that this world was not such disastrous before. Is there any safe or peaceful place in this world? Can anyone dream of a peaceful life in this world?

Why is it so?

The Bible clearly says what will happen towards the end of this world.

“You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. Nation will rise up against nation and the kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of the birth pains.” Matthew 24:6&7

“There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God.” 2 Timothy 3:1

Yes, this world is going to end. The signs are being fulfilled. The time has come that no one can escape the wrath of God.

You may think that these thoughts are rubbish and the world will not end. Wait, let me show you one more verse from the Bible.

“In the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. They will say, where is the coming Christ promised? 2 Peter 3:4

“The sky and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of the judgment and destruction of the ungodly men.” 2 Peter 3:7

Is there a way out?

Yes, the door is still open. Anyone who accepts Jesus Christ as their savior will be free from eternal condemnation.

“For God so loved the world that He gave his only Son Jesus Christ, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

Christ died on the cross bearing the sin of the world. All you have to do is to accept that you are a sinner and that Jesus Christ died for your sins. Ask God for forgiveness of your sins. By doing so, God will pardon you and your soul will be secured for eternity.
